Memoirs From My Call Center Experience

When you work here, you have no time!

Like most jobs, they demand a lot from you. You have to comply or a much graver consiquence happens. In this job, they make you do things you think what it's right for your company. Failure to do so is an equivalent consiquence. You learn a lot here, but you learn them the hard way. Rather the difficult way. Trying to leave this job makes me think, what are the consiquences if I do.
  • If I leave, I'll loose the only way to earn a larger amount of salaray more that what you earn on a regular job
  • If I leave, I'll have a hard time replacing this one, now that my age is over 30 years. In the IT industry, you must be in the early 20's to early 30's.
  • If I leave, I will not be able to pay my monthly bills from credit cards.
  • If I leave, I'll be force to look for other jobs overseas, which is much harder and more expensive. I going to ask for more money to accomplish this.
  • If I leave, my family will suffer.
  • There, I believe these are a short lists or reasons why I can't just leave in this God forsaken job. I have to sacrifice already the valuable time, but if I did well here, I might get a better paying job, and I'll be able to pay the rest of my credit card bills, which is, right now, little by little getting them all paid up.
I'm just not sure how my patience would ever going to last here for long. I never have time to do a lot of things I used to do when I still have my old job.
As far as status here in work is concerned, my team standing is quite excellent. I'm at the #1 again, but my feeling for this job never changes. I still hate this job, yet I have to do my best here. I'm just not sure how my body can cope though. I still want to live the rest of my life, but this industry seem to suck it all dry. It's the first day of Chirstmas, and I'm not faring well with the holidays with all the bills that I have to pay and expenses I have to make, I dont know how will all this end! When will this vicious cycle will ever end! Someday, the answer will come. This trend will not last long, but It will surely be here for awhile, so I have to live to it.
